Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

As we embark on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, remember his quote, "Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." 

Dr. King was indeed a visionary man. Late President Jimmy Carter led from a place of peace. Both leaders showed us that peace can be powerful. It is easier to get angry with individuals than to show restraint and peace toward one another. 

We should remember the quote above as we celebrate #MLKDay. It is powerful, and he said it best.

As a Sole Proprietor she participated in the NFL Houston Super Bowl Li Business Connect Resource Guide for certified vendors. She received her Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Morris has written short stories called Budget on a Shoe String, A Little Talk with Jesus and Golden Nugget that was published through LinkedIn, Google Plus and other social media platforms. Maryland Community College Association of Continuing Education and Training Professional Development Day 2025 Above Photo: Tabu and Participants in the first classroom. I had the pleasure of presenting to the Maryland Community College Association of Continuing Education and Training at the Professional Development Day on May 2, 2025, which was hosted at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Maryland. My topic was Personal Branding: How Does It Impact Your Professional Career?  I want to personally thank the IT Department at Chesapeake College for stepping in and saving me when the Whiteboard in my first classroom kept going blank. They moved the attendees and me to another room, which was perfect because we ran out of seats in the first room. The participants were amazing!
